Election Day 2008

At my house, we made sure to arrive at the Plainfield polling place by 6 AM. There were already 200 people in line ahead of us. I have NEVER seen so much interest in an election and I have been voting here for 23 years!!! Everyone was very friendly, the crowd was quietly excited to show up en masse. Most people voted for Obama.

I wish we would see crowds of voters like this at every election. Usually there are a couple of other voters on hand when I go to vote at any election. This was amazing.
